Selected work

Proof before polish.

Each case states the context, my role, the work and only the outcomes that can be evidenced — labelled by whose result it is. Where a final outcome is not verified, it is a Case Note, not a success story.

PH Store → Grinta

2018 – 2023

From co-founding a B2B pharmaceutical marketplace to leading a 70+ sales and telesales organization at Grinta after the acquisition.

The Grinta team (historical photo).
Context
PH Store was a B2B pharmaceutical marketplace in Egypt, built from the founding stage. It was later acquired by Grinta, where the commercial work continued at a much larger scale.
Problem
First, build a marketplace’s commercial engine from zero as a founder. Then, after the acquisition, lead a large sales and telesales organization through a high-growth phase without losing commercial discipline.
My role
Co-Founder & Growth Head at PH Store (2018 – 2021); Sales Director at Grinta (2021 – 2023).
What I did
  • Co-founded PH Store and built and grew the B2B pharma marketplace from the founding stage
  • PH Store was acquired by Grinta
  • Continued at Grinta in senior commercial leadership as Sales Director
  • Led a 70+ sales and telesales organization while scaling within a larger venture environment

External evidence

What this proves

Lived founder experience through an acquisition, followed by commercial leadership at scale — the foundation for judging pipeline, sales rhythm and team capacity, not just strategy.

HOMEi

Co-founder · now non-executive

Co-founded a PropTech venture and led its commercial strategy, partnerships and expansion.

Context
HOMEi is a PropTech venture operating in Egypt, co-founded by Sohayb, who led the commercial side of the business. He now holds a non-executive position.
Problem
Turn a new proposition into commercial traction from the founder side — where cash, timing, customer proof and team capacity are all real constraints.
My role
Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer: commercial strategy, partnerships and expansion.
What I did
  • Co-founded the venture from the original idea
  • Led commercial strategy
  • Led partnerships
  • Led expansion

What this proves

Commercial execution from inside a young company: proposition, partnerships and expansion under founder constraints — the same constraints clients face entering a new market.

Saudi market entry at Sahat

2023 – present

At Sahat Venture Studio: Saudi market-entry, localization, growth-readiness and expansion support for 50 companies from 12 countries — and 50 companies progressed through licensing & establishment (as of October 2026).

Context
At Sahat Venture Studio — first as Chief Business Development Officer, now as Vice President — Sohayb works with founders and companies building in, or entering, Saudi Arabia.
Problem
Companies arrive with ambition and often a license plan, but without Saudi buyer clarity, a local proposition, a deliberate entry route or a partner path that converts.
My role
At Sahat: business development, partnerships, Saudi market-entry readiness, proposals and venture support; today, venture-operations alignment across an eight-venture portfolio.
What I did
  • Saudi market-entry readiness and localization work across multiple companies
  • Partner mapping and commercial-entry planning
  • Proposals and venture support
  • Venture-operations alignment across an eight-venture portfolio

Outcome — evidenced and attributed

  • SAHAT RESULTSupported 50 companies from 12 countries with Saudi market-entry, localization, growth-readiness and expansion workAt Sahat Venture Studio, as of October 2026. “Supported” describes the work provided — not a claim that every company achieved commercial traction, revenue or funding.
  • SAHAT RESULT50 companies progressed through Saudi licensing & establishmentAt Sahat Venture Studio, as of October 2026. Establishment work such as investment licensing, legal set-up and commercial registration — not a claim about each company's later commercial results.

What this proves

Pattern recognition: the same entry failure modes — wrong route, generic proposition, meetings without structure — seen across many companies, not inferred from one.
